I started teaching for LAUSD as an English teacher. It was a great learning experience and my induction into the fabulously diverse world of education. My next teaching experience was with adults at Tri-Cities ROP. I was so excited to help these displaced workers gain the knowledge they needed to add to their wonderful experiences and make them marketable once more in the working world. From there I came to ERHS in Pico Rivera. It is quite a difference type of teaching, ever-changing and never dull, and I love it. Though I may never know if I make a difference in their young lives, I know they have made one in mine.
